So its my 3rd day here and im finally getting motivated to get out and do some stuff. I woke up at 1:30pm today ( if I cut an hr off my sleep a day it should only take a week to actually wake up at a normal time ) Kent on the other hand slept till 3:30pm, and woke up to a nice sandwhich in bed-thaks to his sweet girlfriend =). I went to Leidsplein tongiht while Kent was at practice, that is the downtown, lots of touirsts. I got to do 3 of my favourite things tonight (kent wasnt one of them.....ooops! hahah) Shopping....get Walk to Wok & an OLIE BOLIE. I went into H&M and only bought 3 things: 2 shirts and a hat, total: 15euro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was in shock by how cheap everything was I didnt no where to really start so I got out of there before it got bad.Im an really excited for tomorrow, we are having a few people here and some drinks before we head to Dam Square, where there is a big free concert and fireworks. There is going to be soooo many people there but it will be fun. They let you bring your drinks with you and everything, kinda feels like there is no rules here on NYE. Snowwwww

We didnt do too much today considering we didnt fall asleep until 6am, the time change can really mess you up for the first few days. I keep thinking about what time it is back home and what i would be doing....should I be sleeping?, eating? so needless to say I woke up at 2:30pm, went for a run and sat inside, still not moviated today. Marty (Kents roomate) his dad flew in today from Minnesota, so he him and I went on the scooter with the boys to there practice tonight at 10:30pm. It was snowing a little bit but wasn't really slippery-a little chilly though. Kent told me to dress warm and for some reason I thought that meant my lulu's would be a good choice. At 12pm when kent finalllllllly got out of the room we went outside to aloooooot of snow. The roads were covered not to mention it was coming down pretty hard. It did look really pretty - that wore off about 10mins later when I couldnt feel my legs, and numbing started in my fingers **then I realized Kent was prolly right I should have wore more clothes (dont remind him I said he was right, I already told him once-I dont want him to get used to that,haha). Our 20min scoot turned into 40mins. Dad, I am sorry I was not wearing a helmet but i think we were only going about 5km/hr. Marty and his dad hit a speed bumb and skidded out, we were ahead of them but I guess they did go right over. Thank god it wasn't us.
Tomorrow I am going to go downtown, see what kind of shopping sales there is =) I didnt bring any splash pants so that is on my list. Its not 2am and we are all still up sitting in the living room-this needs to change.

Finall Here!

I finally arrived in Amsterdam this morning at 6:50am. The T.O airport was pretty busy when I got there, but it didn't take me too long to get through customs. This is where I had to say bye to mom and dad.....and mom doesn't make it easy (and dont worry mom I miss u already too) Watching the people in the airport definately kept me busy while I waited.
I had 2 babies infront of me, and one spent the first 2 hrs crying. Fortunately for my Gravol I dosed in and out....but it definately was driving me crazzzzzzy. I was saying on the way there how silly it was for them to serve fish on a plane... I ordered a special 'low fat' meal and guess what I got?!?! FISH. haha. It wasn't too bad but I didnt eat it all. It was nice ordering a special meal because i got all my meals before everyone else...maybe thats the special part =)
Kent was waiting for me when I arrived, it was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice to see him. A guy who helps with Kents team had drove him there and when we got out his battery in his car was dead, which meant we waited 2hrs to ahve someone charge it for us. I was extremely tired by then. 9:30am we finally got to the apartment. We slept till 3:30, then Kent finally got his presents. He says THANK-YOU to everyone for his gifts (btw he was very spoiled) I spent a little bit organzing Kents room, or should I say moving in. I got to take all my clothes out of my suitcase, that was exciting! i took over half the closet, top drawer for a side table (hair supplies), 2 shelves in the dresser. So for now it feels like home (although a dog would be nice)
Well we are just watching a movie, not very motivated to do much. It is 10:25pm, possibly bed time soon. I will write again soon, hope you all dont miss me too much. haha.

Leaving T o d a y

Today I am leaving for Amsterdam, after my 7hr 10min flight (ugh) I will finally land in Amsterdam. I land there at 7am there time so it`ll be 1am here. I will be 6hrs ahead of time for the next 5 wks. Hopefully the airport wont be too busy, and it is a good flight (no babies close by me so i can sleep, no older man poking me in the side as i nicely give him my isle seat and get jammed in the middle, and finally no one waking me up so they cant have some Nibs) I got my sleep mask packed and my ear plugs so I should able to block out the world. And last I hope my mom doesnt make me too sad when i leave =(.... I can be a pretty big baby when saying Bye ( or see you later )
I will let you know how everything went tomorrow.
